Like the owners of the boutique, the word "Kaur" traces its roots to India where the Punjabi language is spoken. Kaur (pronounced core) is the Punjabi word for "princess" and it is also the traditional middle name for the female members of the owners' family. Kaur was selected as the name of the boutique to symbolized the owners' strong family ties, and because it exemplifies the owners' belief that every woman should feel like a princess!
